I wanted to know how to make them move or remove them off a rock ?

Also, if its on a rock that you can take out of the tank, you can hold it upside down just above the waters surface, and it'll let go.

Old thread, but I'm bumping it for that tip. Worked perfectly.

I've been dreading getting my BTA over to my nano because I wasn't sure I could get him off the rock. My wife finally made do it, and 30 seconds later it was done! Picked up the rock, let him dangle and he dropped right off.

This is the only way I have been able to reliably get them off rocks... Sometimes it takes a couple minutes, sometimes a couple hours; but it does work...

Sometimes, I can shut off all the flow and within 12 hours they let go on their own. I usually try that first, as it is not stressful to the animal, but it only works 1/4 of the time at best...
