How to not hang a t5

Hi I just bought a t5, led hybrid but I don’t want to hang it from the ceiling. Optimally is like to put it 6-8” above the tank. Is there anything that I can get from amazon or a diy to do it?

Here’s my diy hanging. Used regular piping from menards and two elbows and painted them black.

Very cool. I wonder if I could weigh down the base enough and suspend it from one side.

It literally took me 15 mins to build lol. And just bolted it right to my stand.

How wide is the tank and how wide is the fixture? How many bulbs? You could totally do a cantilever from one side using standard sch40 steel pipe depending on width.

It’s 24”, 2 tube bulbs w a hole in the middle to put a a360x

Tank is 25 lagoon so it’s 24” long and 12” high

Check out tnutz they sell 8020 you can custom build your own stand for half the price of a premade. I had t5's hanging before and swapped them out for two orphek led bars and two xr30s.
