How to open BRS DI resin container?

Hey guys,

I got this used BRS 4 Stage Plus RODI unit.

Also got all new filters. I am trying to change the DI resin and I cant open the container.

I looked up BRS.TV and they seems to have a newer container.

There seems to be a plastic ring that I cant take out.

How do I open this?
Or do I need a new container?
