I’m planning a 375g build. I want to have a frag tank plumbed into the system for propagating corals. Any guidance on how to plumb it? Should it go before or after the sump? I’m planning on running a sump with a roller mat, skimmer, and gfo/carbon. I figure it would be best to have the frag tank after the sump so the “dirty” water from the display tank gets filtered in the sump before hitting the frag tank and then heading back to the main display. Anybody with photos of similar setups?

Okay thanks. Makes sense. So just put a T on the return line and then put a valve on the end of the T that goes to the frag tank to tune it down to the required rate. I assume the line coming from the frag tank should drain back into the other end of the sump so it could hit the roller mat, heaters, etc. again. I suppose I could add a fuge the same way too.
