Is the only way of eradicating ich from newly acquired coral quarantining for 76 days? Any other methods?

It s the best ways as you really cannot medicate coral (eg: copper, formalin, etc)
You can dip safely for pests and IMO dipping should help prevent but not Eradicate paratsites and trophants from continuing their cyst cycle

It is if you want to be 99% sure.
Dipping, brushing, inspecting, dipping, rinsing, and removing from the plug (where it makes sense, so not leathers) is likely very very low risk.

ive seen more death in QT than any healthy tank.

good for sales though....

Hmm that’s what i figured... I’m shooting for a 100% parasite free tank so i just May have to do that. Its going to be hard not putting corals into my tank for two months ha

Good point... I’d just hate to see my quarantined fish get ich... then it would’ve all been for nothing
