Hey all! I'm doing a tank reset to fix my aquascape and get rid of some pests while I'm upgrading my tank. I've set up a small tank with some bio-media to hold my current fish and coral until I finish. I'm remaining with some live rock that is still in my original tank, but I'd like to dry it out. I understand you can't just put it out and have it dry, but there's a process to this. I couldn't find that much information elaborating on this so I'm turning to the R2R community. Vaguely, from the information I did find out, it involves soaking the rock in bleach/vinegar and letting it sun-dry, but I'd like to find out the proper method to this.
