After I make a batch of DI water with my RODI system, is it OK to store the unit with the cartridges full of water or should they be drained?

That's how I store mine. I make water about every two weeks. I just make sure to flush the unit for a few minutes before I start collecting water.

When you say flush do you mean just let the system run for a bit or actually flushing the membrane?

I have a BRS unit and it has a valve to flush the RO membrane. So I turn the valve and let it run for 3-5 minutes, then turn the valve and it starts making RODI.

My AquaFX Barracuda is rated for 50GPD, however I just timed it and it made one gallon in approximate 15 minutes. That's at 72° and 80 PSI. If I did the math correctly, that's 96 gallons in 24 hours. Is that normal?

Sounds right... membrane efficiency is dependent on temperature and pressure. Your 50 gpd rating is probably based on 50 psi, you're running at 80 psi, thus more efficient.

Shouldn't you run it at the recommended psi ? Would this damage the membrane or cause a high tds cause it's running through the system so fast? I always wondered this I turn mine on wide open it's a 100gpd I timed it and could get 125gpd out of it wide open not that I need to lol

No, it's fine running at higher psi. People run booster pumps that hit 80 - 90 psi with no issues.
