I hope this is the best place to put this question.

I am getting new flooring throughout the house. It will be a waterproof wood laminate. (basically a laminate with PVC backing). I'm looking to setup anywhere from a 75-125 gallon tank. What's the best way of protecting the new floors? I'm mostly concerned about leaving an imprint of the tank. I know some of you have simply not installed the floor where the tank will be, but that's not an option for me.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can have some extra flooring that you cab save and when you remove the tank over the years due to a upgrade or so and have a imprint you can remove that and use the new flooring you had saved.
Or you can have a protection layer between the floor and stand for not having a imprint.
No matter what you do you will have always something left behind over the years.
