How to quarantine the clean up crew?

Hi All
Soon I will introduce clean up crew in my DT as My DT has just finished the cycle, however, I would like to quarantine them before introducing them?
Can you tell me step by step how to quarantine the clean up crew?
The crew will consist of:
- Turbo Snils
- Peppermint Shrimps
- sea star

Depending on how long before introduction of Fish there should not be much of a chance at introducing parasites so really you are just trying to eliminate the possibility of pests like Aiptasia, Mojano and Pyramidal Snails (which can hide on Astrea/Turbos etc...) Close inspection and maybe a few days of isolation to better spot anything unusual. I would definitely hold off on any Starfish initially, especially Sandsifters or Cucumbers as there is not enough food and system will not be very stable yet

What I do with CUC such as snails is that I scrub the shells with a toothbrush then inspect the shells for anything I don't like and scrape it off with a flathead screw driver or scrub harder with the tooth brush.

I got my cuc from Reefcleaners and they say NOT to acclimate. I just dropped mine in. no hermits or shrimp, just snails.

I wish I had known this when I first started out. I have a ton of pyramidal snails in my tank that came in on astrea snail shells.

3dees, he is asking about qt, not acclimation. That is correct acclimation for reef cleaner cuc as his stuff is all tidal and he packs in wet tissue. That is not always the correct acclimation for all cuc.

Thanks guys I learnt a lot from you ... I can understand that for shrimps no need for QT, however, for others I need to clean the shells as practical as possible and isolate them for 3 days to inspect them to ensue no Bad stuff on them

This is a very legit question because more than just things that affect fish can come in on snails/hermits like hydroids, pyramid snails, vermetid snails, etc.

I am still working out how to quarantine my CUC for my re-build so following.

Longer is better. 3 days is a good start but if you are going 3 days you m4ight as well make it a week or even 2 if you are a patient person
