Ok. I'll bite. I qt all new arrivals in a 30g acrylic cube that I traded for. I use live rock, a powerhead and a heater. If there are wrasses that need a sand bed, I'll add a tupperware container of sand. I use this as a process to observe the fish and get them eating and used to my care. I don't put a light over the QT, but it's near my reef, so I think that helps them get used to my lighting schedule (not sure how helpful this is...but not too worried about it). I observe the fish for any issues over the course of 30 days. If no problems, they get moved to the display on day 31. If I am adding wrasses or something else that might have issues with some of the other inhabitants, I use a social acclimation box for 2 days and watch for signs of aggression from tank mates.
If any issues surface during the QT period, I will move the fish to a hospital setup for treatment.
