Hello all and thank you for reading this. I currently just set up a deep blue 60 gallon rimless cube reef ready. my problem is, is my durso overflow is creating a siphon and when the water level drops it gurgles and when it raises it is dead silent. when I increase the flow it stops gurgling but the flow is too much for my corals and they start to close up. the return max output is about 1900gph. now I have a few solutions, but I don't know what would be best also if you have a another idea I would love to hear it. 1.) I could leave the flow high and would my corals get used to the high flow or would it just batter them and make then always look deflated? 2.) or could I increase the size of the air intake hole in the top of the durso to increase air flow so it wont create a siphon when the flow it turned down to half of full? 3.) or could I put a pvc ball valve in the drain line to tune it in to match the flow? everyone's advice is always greatly appreciated
