How to raise nitrates

As more folks have done that and posted results, I’m leaning toward ammonia dosing being a better choice than nitrate dosing.

My tank responded way better to ammonia dosing than it did nitrate dosing. It was noticeable in growth and color on many pieces within a week to 10 days
