I’ve been checking my salinity lately and I have a solid 31.4 salinity and I know the default for Hanna is 35 ppt so should I raise my salinity at all? And if I should how should I do that?

If it's running fine, there isn't a need to move fast. If you choose to then just use 35ppt replacement water during changes. You wont have to mess with anything tank wise this way and eventually you'll get to 35.

G’day I believe anywhere between 33-35ppt is good for a reef tank. I keep mine at 33.2ppt/ 1.025 sg on my Hanna because that produces the correct elements in my salt mix.

I would raise it to 35 with your normal water changes over a period and then keep it there.

my tank is now at 29.8 ppt or 1.0224 which in my guess is okay for now but for my regular water changes, I do 15-20% which is about 12-14 cups of saltwater, I replace 13 cups and add about half a cup to a cup of fresh. Forgive me for being a blonde brothers, but if my ppt is really at 29.8 ppt To raise to do I add more saltwater to my tank and less fresh, or more fresh rather than saltwater?

You want more salt.

I typically raise salinity by topping off with fresh saltwater instead of RODI. Just check each night and stop when you get where you want to be.

Just dump it in!!! Lol jk. Yes raise salinity by adding more salt. I like the top off with 35ppt salt water instead of rodi water. But all are good suggestions. But def low imo
