How to Reconfigure or move around Apex junior Outlets

Hello Everyone!

My light and ATK both have a large power adapter and that resulted in me having to plug them in opposite of each other and one upside down because they couldn't fit beside one another. I have since upgraded my light and the new light has a normal plug so I would like to move around the current outlets instead of resetting the unit, un hooking everything and carrying it to my router etc. I can do that but if there is a simpler way I'd much rather do that.

Apologies if this is a simple question, I did few searches and checked the programming outlet section of the manual but neither have given me much to go on (or if they have I've completely missed it. The best thing I can think of would just be turning everything off, copy and pasting the codes around to the outlets I actually want them and renaming them.

Talking about using your computer you are probably talking about using the apex classic dashboard.

Download the apex fusion app. (Apex needs to be connected to a router)

The only thing I use my computer for now is updates because it has to be hardwired to do them.

You will have to reconfigure the outlets in the program either on fusion or the desktop version

To clarify, are you saying that switching the outlets on the apex junior isn’t possible from the fusion dashboard?

Would I have to do it from the mobile app?

Also I did connect the controller to the wifi via a powerline adapter, not sure if that makes a difference to what you saying or not.

Okay...

• logging in to your apex from the computer using the IP address is the apex classic dashboard.
• Logging in from the app on your phone is the fusion.

Dont get the dashboard confused with fusion.

Here is what the dashboard looks like VS fusion app on phone.

• Click the gear
• Click the plug
• The select the plug information you want to change

Or click the gear next to the outlet you want to change and you can change the names.

Now once I get to that point I can see that I can rename everything but it there anyway for me to repurpose it? Other than rename it and change the icon and modify the code I don't see how I could change the heater outlet to a pump outlet for example(Unless I just have to rename it and switch the code to the other function)?

• "Empty_7" (This is an empty plug on my eb8 )

So if I swapped my heater from plug 6 into 7, I would just have to swap all the information.

The same if I was to swap my gyre with my fuge led

BTW. The numbers at the back just matches the outlets on my eb8.

FWIW.....

It does not matter what you set the outlet as, as long as your using the "advanced" section of programming. If you are using the wizards, then you have to change the outlet type to "pump" instead of "lights".

When you click the gear icon, you are presented with the outlets profile. If you are using a wizard for programming, and are presented with a graph when clicking the gear, you then you have to click the gear again in the upper right hand corner to get the the "advanced" section. Under "Control Type" you can choose the type of outlet you want(for wizard programming), or just choose "advanced" and program the outlet as you see fit.
