I just completed about 5 weeks of fluconazole (Reef Flux) to get rid of maidens hair algae (pretty sure it was at least. It is cleared out now.

My water volume is 180g so the most I can change at a time is 25%.

How do I remove it from the water column efficiently? If carbon, how long do you think it will take to remove it?

I mean when they tell you to do a water change after treatment, I assume its only for the possible increase in nutrients from algae dying and not because 30% of fluconazole out of the water column is going to mean it will no longer have any effect in the tank right?

I think the 30% water change is kinda silly. Probably should change more than that and run some quality Carbon to remove it all. What did you end up doing? How is the tank now?
