Manually is best and safestAs the title says, how to best remove hydroids from zoa plugs? Is there any dip or regimen that isn't too harsh on the zoas?
Or just keep removing them manually?
Interesting, didn't know they ate hydroids. Sadly not an option for me though. Seems like i have to keep gardening.matted file fish
I am a little late to the party but what did it for me was either Electric Blue Hermit or Halloween Hermits, they mow down hydroids. In the past I put 2 aptaisia eating matted filefish in mt tank, they took care of most asptaisia and moved onto the digitate hydroids ,have not seen the hydroids after that

I wouldn't let them up on my fragboards, but if that's true they could get rid of my infestation
The one in the video that comes up when i google it says it's an electric blue, but has solid blue legs unlike all the other ones that come up when i google electric blue hermit, if i am going to allow hermits back into my tank i don't want the wrong kind, doe the blue black striped ones eat them too?
