How to remove Melafix/Calm Down skimmer?

I ran melafix for a tang with popeye about 3 weeks ago at half dosage (100 gallon system).

I then ran carbon for almost 2 weeks now and the skimmer is still going crazy. I ALSO changed 50 gallons of the water.

Any tips here?

PS Yes I wont run meds in my tank again.

Keep changing the water to dilute it.
