How to save pods from rinsed chaeto.

So my chaeto had a ton of gross buildup in it and I decided to swish it around in tank water to get the gunk off. I notice a ton of pods fell off (tigger and amphipods) and are now in my bowl of grime. How can I get the pods out and trash the grime.

I was thinking the population of tigger pods died off but seeing so many in the bowl gave me hope haha. I wanna save as many as possible

try a baster, suck up some of the pods, and some of the gunk might get left behind, not all.

I'll definitly try that. I assume me swishing the chaeto didnt knock all the pods off but it's still good to save as many as I can
