Hello,
This coral was fine until yesterday, something must have hurt him. Can I save him?

Plates are pretty hardy. My son cut ours into 9 pieces (only one had a mouth) They all lived and the other 8 grew a mouth. We also had one glued to a rock and a couple months after we pulled it out, a dozen new ones sprouted on the rock.

Looks like it got stung by neighbor coral. Im not a fan of too many corals on the sandbed as sand irrititates them. Moderate light and water flow is their liking and occasional feedings.
alk 8-9
mag 1300
mag 1250-1300
temp 77-79
salinity 1.025

where you put them then? with glue on stone?

Check parameters make sure salinity and temp are fine then move it to isolated sand bed area and direct feed if needed couple times a week. Seems to be the concensus here

It not die, he recover, but another that got beaten accidentally by a fish when food fall on seems to dieing :-/ so 50%chance they recover or die
