how to set the virtual outlet for apex to auto ?

If you manually put an outlet (virtual or otherwise) in ON or OFF you can’t use a program to change it back to AUTO. ON and OFF are manual overrides that cannot be overridden by a program.
Instead you can adjust the program for the top off and email alert so they turn off while feed mode is active.
For example you could add the following line to the bottom of the program for each of those outlets. In that case it would shut them off during the FeedA feed mode and not turn them back on until 5 minutes after the feed mode had finished.
