I'll be in Vegas from 12/20 - 12/27. Being in Oklahoma where the LFS's have mediocre specimens @ outrageous prices, I wanted to check out what Vegas has but if I find something I want, I don't want to be bumbed if I can't have it. Has anyone ever bought @ a LFS while on vacation and sent those specimens back to their home state for a friend to pickup and deliver into your tank for you while your gone? If so, can you please share your experience (good or bad) and packing/shipping company recommendations?

If you can pick them up on you way to the airport you can fly with them. They must be in a water tight container. There is no restriction to liquids when it comes to live animals. I flew from Orlando to Chicago with 7 TSA pieces in February.

This is great info! Do you know if you have to pay for it like it's a carry on if it is like a box is to big to fit in a back pack? and you say airtight - so rubber bands tying the bags wont work - as in, needs to be the metal ring clamps to seal the bag or??
