How to ship sensitive inverts

Due to financial reasons, I have to shut down my tank and was wondering how I can ship sensitive inverts as my lfs won't give credit for these certain "too risky" creatures. Thanks

Sorry to hear.
Slightly larger bags is water and overnight shipping.

Run the calculators on usps and fed ex.
Fed ex charges by size and weight. USPS is weight only.

Run an 8x8 at 4lbs to a couple zip codes. Both close and far away.

Thanks for that, I just ran the calculator to ship to Florida (pretty far) and the other side of Cincinnati (pretty close) and now I have to change all my ads.


To anyone: I just read a nice detailed and article where they recommended that you don't chose "live animals" and just chose "fragile". What are y'alls take on this? Thanks

Seems a bit paranoid to me. Like not marking something glass or fragile out of fear a federal employee will willingly cause breakage and damage to it because it is glass.

One last thought.
I reccomend you tell buyers to do this.

When i get any package. I take a picture if the box.
I take a picture of the top of the box when it's opened.
I take a picture of each item as I pull it out of the box.

If there are problems, ask for these pictures to be sent to you , you can then submit the photos to pay pal if there is a dispute.
