How to slave one Kessil AP9X to another when using APEX IOT control?

I have 2 AP9X lights over my aquarium and I have a K-Link cable connecting one light to another. I currently have both lights with connected via WI-FI to my APEX
My problem is that either device will lose WI-FI connectivity occasionally and not trigger off or change schedule. I am hoping to reduce that dependence on WI-FI a bit.

Does anyone know how to set one of these devices in a "K-Link" group like you can when controlling it through the kessil app?

It looks like the Kessil Spectral X controller is compatible with the AP9X fixtures.

If so, I‘d get that X controller and just drop your WI-FI dependance.

It did work great with my four A360X units.
