Hello, I had some what we think was aiptasia in my tank. (Photo attached) I decided instead of target removing it I would just remove the whole rock it was on. The rock was kind of too big and annoying for different things I want to do anyways. However, I may want to use the rock in the future but don't want it stinking up my garage. What's the best way to store it? Not sure if I should try to keep things alive on it since it has that aiptasia or just let it all die?

Right now it's just sitting in a 5 gal bucket with a lid.

It will need water movement and some warmth to keep it alive but by doing that, your aiptasia will continue to thrive. I usually bleach it, soak it on and off several times in water and put it outside to dry in the sunlight. I have put rock back into my tank after doing that with no issues whatsoever.
