Hello -

Figured this post could be helpful of some of us, who love to share our programming, or have support questions.
All too often I see folks sharing screenshots, taking a phone camera picture of what's displayed on the screen, and all too often it makes it difficult to read due to the pixels and distortion..

What are your option to take screen shots from your computer?
This list is not all inclusive, and is no stamp of approval for any one product, just some options for you :)
See below:
Both Snagit & Jing offer single click share/upload to also host your pictures, where as Snipping Tool will require you to save and upload.

Both @Vinny@GHLUSA and myself use Snagit for screenshots, and tutorials.
Please do post up, if you have one you really like, or tips/suggestions..

My fav for Windows: Greenshot, http://getgreenshot.org/. Free and open source. I like how it's connected to the prt sc key on my keyboard so it's super fast and easy to use. Press key then choose the region you want to capture. Right click, Open in editor to scribble on it before uploading or copy and paste directly into a post.

Snipping tool is a must! I keep it handy.. right here!

I use Snagit on a daily basis for IT related documentation. You can’t beat the feature set and you can use either the free or registered version.
