How to take frags off plug

Acan
Frilly mushroom
Palythoas
Gsp
Xenia
Acan you can just pop off the frag plug unless encrusted to the plug it self.

Gsp and xenia should peel right off.

The others not sure about always left on the plug.

I’m straight up legit scared to frag my palythoa grandis colony. One of the confirmed species that does produce palytoxin

Palys if you mess with them produce a toxin that will mess you up. There is no cure or antivenom. So if you scrap them off of a plug and try to glue them somewhere else be very very very very careful.

I remember a few years ago a guy from the forums went to clean some live rock, in the oven or pot of boiling water i forget. But they had palys on them and after a few min he started feeling weird. And his wife. And his dogs got sick. All in like a half hour. And they all ended up in the ER with palytoxin poisoning. The cooking process made them release the toxins in the air and it messed up his whole household

They look too cool not to have. I also have toxic death palys. Not sure if they have the palytoxin but I just assume so until proven wrong.

I bought grandis palys this weekend. The price was too right now I've got a bomb in my tank lol

Or, a nearly undetectable poison since it’s so uncommon it’s not something that would be tested for commonly…
