How to transfer fish from a tank with dino

I was wondering if there was a way to eliminate dino on an animal before moving it to a new tank. I thought mabey copper or coral dip....thoughts?

Easy to see first-hand if you have a microscope though. (Selecting a microscope...no need to spend more than $10-$15 to get started.)

You'd want to test your local dino strain anway vs going with general advice. Not all dino's respond equally to a given stimulus, including salinity swings (ie. freshwater), temperature swings, nutrient swings, et al.

The wierd thing is though is that i looked at it through my microscope and it didnt quite look like dino...mabey it is, but i couldn't figure out what strain.

Dino's should move around quite a bit. How did these move?

Try dunking them in freshwater just like you intend for the QT dip.

Then look at it under the scope so you have before/after.

They did not move at all. Totally stationary
