I have a few fish with Ick and have a reef tank. I will not be able to remove the fish from the DT because its too big and too many rock/coral to contend with.

What is the best way to treat the tank?
I already have a UV Sterilizer running at a low flow, what medication or methods should I use to help eradicate the ick?

Thank You.

As you will find out after reading the above mentioned info. Two options: Manage it. Or bite the bullet break down the tank and remove all fish to treat with a method that will erradicate it, because none of which can be done safely in a reef tank.

Also, velvet is every bit as common as ich now if not more, and you’re not going to be successfully managing velvet. Pics of the affected fish will help.
