How to turn off Vortechs using Reeflink?

Hi all,

I have 2 mp10's running with a Reeflink on my Reefer 250. Works like a charm.

Now I would like to add a Vortech Battery Backup. If I am correct this will come to the rescue in the case of power outage.

Now, if I want to turn of the pumps I just take the power off, for example when I want to do maintenance or feed the corals. But after I have the battery back up installed this will not work....if I take the power off the battery will kick in. I got all the cords hidden behind the tank so it is nearly impossible to shut down the battery backup manually every time I need to turn off the pumps.

So my question; is there a way to turn off the pumps using reeflink/ the ecosmart live app? Or through accessing ecosmart live by laptop? It would be perfect if I can turn the pumps off using the app but I can't figure out how ??

I don’t see an option on the app either.

I would just unplug the battery backup from the driver. That’s what I do on the one Vortech I have the backup on when I shut the whole power strip off when I do water changes.

Is there not a "feed mode" button? You want to figure out how to turn the pumps to 0% I'd think, not actually power them down, right?

I believe if you power down the MP10s using the controller (holding down the far right button), the battery backup won't kick on, since it's a manual power off and not a loss of power (although I'm not 100% sure, since I haven't added the battery backup yet). I know you said you have cords hidden behind, but wasn't sure if you had easy access to the controllers or not.
