How to use my wavemaker

G'day.
I have a aqua reef 300 . I am newbie . I have bought a aquaone wavemaker 8000l.. I have placed it in a spot where I think is circulating the water best. But I dont know if I keep it on 24/7 or just couple of hours a day.. in the tank there is only live rock and a pair of reef gopy .. I intend to be a reef tank.. thanks

Run it 24/7 and if you only have one put it on the side about half way down pointing a little toward the top.
