I tend to have some very clumsy tangs that like to stick themselves into rock work that they don't fit in to try to sleep or just while dashing around hit a rock.

Last night my beautiful new Yellow Eye Kole Tang rubbed up against a rock and left a round discolored white spot dead center on the left of his body. Kills me to see especially because I was doing some stuff in the tank and probably caused his frantic move.

How well do these things heal from your experience?

They heal surprisingly quick. I’ve had minor stuff heal next day.

Most scars even half eaten fins or wounds typically heal.in few days if fish is healthy and wond doesn't get infected. HLLE can leave permanent scares though.

Fin cuts. Small flesh cuts from other tangs. My Naso once bite at the side of my PBT cause he was blocking the nori. Naso got tired of waiting.

I actually had a huge gash in the side of my Green Bird Wrasse that I thought was going to be fatal.....totally disappeared in about a week.
