I have one big apitasia that could nearly be fragged if possible. How can I kill this bad boy ? Any suggestions

It’s on the big piece of rock I have in the center of the tank. When I placed a drag over it , it went through another hole and out.

It’s behind the big piece of rock dead under other rocks. When extended maybe 3” foot.

Thing is if you mess with it it will release and you will be in trouble and have more then 1 you will have many. I am surprised you only have 1.... there is always more then one lol. Are you sure it's aiptasia and not something else

I tried the lemon juice and syringe to kill it will not luck. I’ve even grabbed my razor scraper and tried chopping it of but only getting a few tentacles

Well if you did all that while in the tank and you don't have any more then that 1 it is probably not aiptasia OR the babies didn't show yet.
This is what happen in my 30g when I had only 1 now I have them everywhere and nothing from my 30 ever touches my 120.
I use different everything between the 2 tanks.
Thinking about scraping everything in there and starting over.
120 is perfect and will stay that way.

The only thing I have ever used to kill them is Kalk paste. I just put a little powder in my hand and drip a bit of tank water then mix it with a toothpick. Then I get a nice glob on the toothpick and ram it through and into its hole. 100% success rate for me.
Finally, someone with the same situation that I experienced. I found a single Aiptasia in my current tank soon after starting. It was not in a position that would be easily accessible. So I figured I would get some Berghia nudibranchs, but decided to wait until there were a few more Aiptasia. After several months of waiting that single Aiptasia got pretty big but did not spread. I then added a Copper Band to the tank. I could see him each day picking away at the tentacles of the Aiptasia. After a few months of this the Aiptasia dwindled down and disappeared. I have not seen any Aiptasia in the DT or sump for three years. So I've been wondering if there are some species of Aiptasia that are less prone to spreading than others. Or is it something else within the tank that stunts the reproductiveness? Has anyone else experienced this type of behavior? Coincidentally, I don't know if this is related or not, I have one BTA that has grown rather large and has never split. Maybe I just have a weird tank!
