I’m not exactly sure what happened. My calcium got really high. I thought I had it dialed in then waited almost 2 months to test it once some corals were dying off. Probably got ti about 520 or so. Not sure exactly since the test kit I use only goes to 500. Been in the tank nearly 3 years and recently started losing heads. Moved it to my frag tank, where calcium is 450, a few days ago. That is where I normally keep it in the main tank. It was looking better yesterday but today looks like it’s continuing to die off. Is this brown jelly disease?

You could try the "smell test" for BJD. If it stinks to high heaven, it's probably BJD. Something like Reef Primer might help to re-dip it (if that's an option).
Thanks for the tip. I smelled it and it doesn’t smell that bad. Just normal aquarium smell.
Anyone else have any ideas. I’m going to try to attach a video but I don’t think videos work on here?

Has it improved at all since you moved it to the frag tank?
No it’s continuing to die off. My neon candy cane colony died off and a red Goni has been closed up for over a month. All stuff that had been thriving for a long time. May have to do an ICP test.

Idk - that calcium isn’t that bad. What do the rest of your parameters look like?
It’s been pretty stable around 430-450 range for almost 3 years. Might be something else. I bought an ICP test but haven’t used it once I found out calcium was out of wack

I gotta say. My Duncan at one point looked horrific. I did a revive (5min) and RO (5min) dip and it came back within a week

Going to do the ICP test. I need to get to the bottom of what’s going on in my tank. Had an orange setosa just bleach out of nowhere a couple months back. The Duncan that’s gone from 1 head to over 50 in nearly 3 years is dying off. Candy cane from 1 head to probably 20 died off. Red Goni that was growing like a weed just closed up and won’t reopen. Right next to another Goni that hasn’t been affected. Have a few acropora in the tank that are all doing good. They’re supposed to be the hardest to grow. I can’t figure it out

Thanks. I’ll give it a shot. Sounds like it’s worth a try.
No problem. It was my magnesium that went to about 550 I over dosed a few things and it seemed my Duncan and hammer were the only ones seriously affected. But as I said I noticed the swing towards healthiness in less than a week

I meant 1550
