So would it make it or not?

cool vid...though I'd have more things to worry about than my tank to be honest. But that woman hosting it with the purple hair...it sticks out like she's been in 1 too many earthquake tests :) For me my preparedness plans are for hurricanes. Quakes scare me more than 'canes

I was in the quake that destroyed Managua, Nicaragua in 72. 10 gallon made it fine, just the plastic cover fell in to the tank.

i was in a quake in california in the 90's and my goldfish bowl fell on the floor. we put the goldfish in the pluged sink and he made it out fine.

Great video - thanks for sharing! I am relieved that we have an in-wall stand, LOL.

Our tank weathered the 5.8 quake that hit Virginia in late August. The epicenter was approx 60 miles from our house. We were in Jamaica and found out hours after it hit when we happened to walk by a TV tuned to CNN. I'm glad that we were fortunate enough to have a structural engineer (and fellow reefer) who lives in Seattle (quake zone) work with us when we added additional floor support under our house and built our tank stand.
