What's your best dip advice? I tend to dip the everlovin crap out of everything. I remove everything from the plugs (seem to always find some nasties living under the glue) & I've caught several species of worms, hydroids, etc even from reputable dealers. I dip in CoralRx followed by CoralRecover (alsodose the tank with recover) and in one worst case, also h202 before I even begin to acclimate. Haven't lost any corals (yet) but worried it might be too harsh...?

I dip in revive first for about 4-5 mins. Then see what came off. Then I iodine dip for 2 mins. For zoas, I also add a third H2O2 dip because they can take a dipping better than most and they usually are the dirtiest.

I used a lil more than I should have with revive how toxic is that stuff?

I stopped using revive and just dunk everything in bayer. Seems to irritate the coral a lot less. Last resort I just dip them in ketchup.
Have you tried dipping in monster energy drinks?

I dip everything with ME Coral 4x. And will use Iodine when needed. May use peroxide here and there but not much.

I am just going to throw in my thoughts:
Shipping is stressful. Dipping is stressful. So I try and give the corals a bit of peace to recover before dipping.
a) temp acclimate in bag in dark sump
b) afterward, visual inspection, then let them recover for a few days in <200 PAR LPS tank.
c) THEN DIP and repeat as necessary, still lower light
d) finally place in tank

It is just about letting the sticks "de-stress" before dipping.
