Hi Everyone,
My name is Jake and I am still very new to this hobby. After doing my first SCUBA diving at Julian Rocks in NSW Australia, I was determined to recreate the ocean in my house.
We've had our 29 gallon BC up and running for about 5 months now. I love the simplicity of the design as well as the function of that cube. All of my modifications have been on the filtration side so still running stock lighting. It's mostly LPS and softies, but I do have one monti cap. I was going to upgrade the lighting to LEDs but then found out I was being gifted a 93 gallon aquarium and protein skimmer so now I'm researching bigger tanks especially the plumbing, filtration and lighting. I'd love to grow a reef of SPS. Here's a picture just after going through a massive algae outbreak. I learned a lot through that experience, right amount to feed, right amount of time for the lights, more frequent water changes and so on.
