Greetings from Eastern NC. Been a SW addict, err I mean hobbyist for about 12 years now. I have had a few breaks in between but always more on than off! My longest break has been more recent when I broke down my 180, 2 years ago and converted it to FW planted (first FW tank). No regrets actually BUT a couple of months ago i fell off the wagon! I have recently set up a 33 long mixed reef. I am loving it of course and glad to be back in the saddle. Looking forward to browsing the site and continuing to learn in this ever evolving hobby called reefing

Here is a pic taken with my iPad so not the greatest. I will post some more pics of some close ups of some things in the members tank threads. I used all established water, and about half the rock was established rock, the rest was dry.

I put a few handfuls of white aragonite in when I decided I wanted to try black sand this time and figured the black sand would stay on top and there was twice as much but my Nass snails decided they like a mixed look....not really digging it but hope it will be covered up soon enough with eye candy

Thanks, I have two but they are still working out their spousal roles

. The one you see in the anem is of course the dominant one and will not let the other one in the anem quite yet. I will have to get a pic of the other one. The other one gets a taste here and there but has not been allowed to move in yet
