Subjective, I would say no though. Feed a little less and it will go down, or up your filtration like set your skimmer to skim heavier. Salinity is a tad high.Should I dose phosphate Rx?

I actually believe I have a bad batch of Hanna phosphate pouches. My corals are doing great and don't have any major algae issue, apart from cyano coming back here and there.200ppb is a lot of phosphate, in fact that is off the charts. I would start reducing that down now but take it easy especially if you have sps corals ( however can’t see how with that high ) I just tested and have 90ppb and just dosed some as I would like it under 30.
I would think my tank should have crashed by now and I would have a full out algae bloom at 200 ppb200ppb is a lot of phosphate, in fact that is off the charts. It's all good, I was freaking out when I saw my test results, but the tank wasn't reflecting that. So I thought I would half dose with phosphate Rx and retest in 2 days, and boom...the exact same.Yeah the hanna checkers are great but I struggle to get all the dang powder in. If corals are good than yeah I would probably get new packets and retest. Didn’t mean to freak you lol. I struggle keeping it steady and going to give rowaphos a try now.
