Hqi ballast upgrade

Does anybody know which electronic ballast nanotuners was selling in there upgrade kit ? If not can somebody recommend an electronic ballast that will work the Jbj 28 hqi ?

I think JBJ 28 uses a 150w HQI,I don't know much about other ballasts but I use and am very happy with the Lumatek electronic ballasts...

here's the ballasts I use,although it is a 250w ballast,it can be turned down to fire a 150w bulb as well,might be something you'd want to consider if you wanted to use a higher output bulb later.... Lumatek 250W 120/240V Dimmable / Multi-Wattage Ballast Kit

bump ????????????? I need to replace a ballast and I dont want to buy another magnetic jbj. Somebody must have upgraded there ballast on here ??

All I can tell you is to not go higher than a 150 watt unless you just use a 20k bulb. You'll bleach all your corals for sure if you go higher.

I opened mine up it is a sunpark ballast. This is what it is Full Spectrum Light, Full Spectrum Lighting.
