Due to an outbreak of ich i had to rebuild & cycle a 93 gallon tank for a hypo treatment.
(somehow i transferred it from my QT to my DT :(

4ish weeks ago i added some Dr. Tims.
Temp is 80.5
pH is 7.95

Tank is bare bottom, a few pounds of seed rock and a quart of seeded marinepure

Ammonia has been clearing nicely for well over two weeks however nitrites aren't dropping. I've been dosing ammonia at roughly .5 ppm every other day to prevent die off. From past experience once nitrites start to clear it will happen rapidly however I have never had a tank take this long to cycle. Im not surprised by the since ive always had plenty of LR in the past.

Anyways,
Im hoping to move fish over to start the treatment / fallow process this weekend. I was thinking of a couple of things. I could add some microbe-lift nite out II to help the process or i could just rely on water changes during the treatment process and lastly I could just wait until nitrites clear, then a big WC and add the fish. (i've also read that nitrites aren't too toxic to fish unless the levels are really high)

Does anyone have an experience with the nite-out or have any suggestions?
Thanks
Jason
