Dunnman can you post tank pics, am curious to see the state of your rocks under the algae, actually. as others have pointed out we need param info, and the type of kits you used to test, but in addition its great to see the type of surfaces the algae inhabits...on the sand vs on the glass, vs on the rocks or all combined, from that we can tell a lot.
sorry for the mispost above that was a continuance for another thread. Since you are describing large coverage area I'd be curious to see pics of the sandbed as well to check for fuel sources. Removing detritus waste potentially stored is the best effort for prevention
