We have been working with Scott for a long time and he has been very good to our community here at R2R! Congrats to Scott and Eshopps!

I'm all ears if it's something that could be implemented on existing hob overflows
I'm running two that work perfectly but are a noisy. ;)
Here’s a little sample. This is my single drain eshopps. Looks normal right? The secret is in the second pic. That’s an open drain with a 1/2 elbow inside the overflow box. It runs through a bulkhead in the side of the box and down a dedicated 1/2” line to the sump. I drilled a few 1/32” holes in the top of the in-box elbow to prevent siphoning and reduce noise unless that elbow becomes covered by about 1” of water to prevent overflowing, which is does a fantastic job of doing. The main drain always operates under full siphon controlled by a gate valve. ALL eshopps overflows should dedicate a drain to this, including their dual siphon tube models.

Thank you. That is pretty darn creative. Makes perfect sense after studying it for a while. It is probably almost totally silent. If my sump was under my tank I would be trying this tomorrow. My sump is in the basement so I'd be looking at about 30 or more ft of plumbing. If I ever have to move this tank I'm going to try that method and just splice it into the down pipe that already drains to the sump. Hopefully tho that day doesn't come.
