So, a quick rundown of what I'm working with and then I'll get to the project and questions:
Tank: 120g (don't know brand)
20g sump

What I have available:
55g
3x 10g
2x 20g
(Each has their own filters, and typical qt equipment)

Livestock (120g):
Yellow Tang
Sailfin Tang
Tomini Tang
Blue Tang
Niger Trigger
Orchid Dottyback
Arc eye hawkfish
Blue Damsel
Yellow Damsel
Striped Damsel
Snowflake Clown
Black Ocellaris Clown
Coral Banded Shrimp
Feather Duster
Frogspawn
Kenya Trees x2
Hammer
Toadstool leather
Mushrooms
A few other corals I don't remember their names
Snails and Crabs

My dilemma:
Later this summer I'm going to be redoing the floor in my basement, this is also where my tank is. The issue I run into isoving my tank and it's inhabitants so I can put new flooring under it. It's been running for about 2 years. While I'm redoing the floor I plan on deep cleaning my tank and putting new sand in.
What's the best way to do all this?
I'd like to clean the rocks that don't have corals on them as well...

I would have another tank to put inhabitants in temporarily then add the sand to cleaned empty tank u can clean the rock and recycle in a trash can with saltwater flow and heater using microbacter7 or doc tims one and only.

Would I have to restart the cycle when I put everything back in? I'm assuming I can use the rock with coral on it (since they would go to the same place the fish would go) to help that?

Use as long as u keep the rock in heated salt water or get it back in right away it will have the biological bacteria still on it.

never hurts to add a little microbacter7 though will only help as long as not over done and causing bacteria bloom.

This is gonna be stressful. How long do you think the inhabitants could survive in the rubbermaid tub? And what kind of filtration would I need?
I'm thinking it may take a day or so to get the carpet ripped out and the new flooring put down before I can start putting things back in.

Also, what are some inexpensive powerheads? I'm having trouble with flow and it causes detritus build up.

Nero 5 are also not super expensive around 200 bucks 3000 gallon per hour flow rate the others mentioned are from 40 to 100 bucks.
