Does anyone know where to buy those huge rectangle frag plugs I've been seeing? How come people prefer to grow the colony out on the huge plug than on the rock structure? And is there like a pro to growing it on there?

the flat surface makes it easier for it to spread out and cut into frags later on down the road

Check oceans wonders, they sell ceramic or aragonite.
Do you reccomend ceramic or aragonite for the plugs and would you rather have a 2" or 3" for it to grow out on?

Asking the same question just want to know a different opinion but do you reccomend ceramic or aragonite for the plugs and would you rather have a 2" or 3" for it to grow out on?

I prefer the aragonite 2" square tiles myself. But my frag tank is only 67 gallons ... If something outgrows that then I can always glue another larger tile under
