It is rare for anything to arrive dead. If anything arrives dead you must do the following, there are no exceptions:
1. Call me within 2 hours of delivery
2. Send clear photo of dead item in the original bag within 2 hours of delivery
3. If by chance it is not alive when it arrives, I will refund you less shipping charges.
I highly doubt you will have any issues. This is a very Healthy and thriving clam. It will be triple bagged in a 4Mil bag with plenty of water. There will be heat packs, packing material to keep it upright and in a foam cooler / shipping box sealed and heavy duty tape wrapped. Box will be marked Fragile and rush and will not be packed until the last possible minute for me to get to FedEx. I recommend shipping to your local FedEx center for pick up as you will be able to pick it up earlier.

We generally do not recommend shipping if the projected overnight temperatures in your area will be in the single digits or lower, or when there is a strong possibility of significant snow or ice that may cause delivery delays
