Huge worm??

It almost looks like a regular earthworm from a distance but I've never seen one like this. Can't say I'm to kiend on him. I already don't like Bristol worms . I pulled this out of my quarantine which isn't doing good right now. I caught a couple of heads of aiptasia in it earlier today and had to try those suckers out.

Those "hairs" in the last photo got me a bit concerned. Maybe they're different species of bristle worms or maybe they just change when they get this big but this isn't what I'm used to them looking like

Bristleworm don’t touch them with bare hands they will sting/leave bristles! Also ugly and not welcome in my tanks some people like them though for cleanup as they are generally harmless.

I was worried it's a fireworm. In the last photo you can see those white bristles

It doesn’t look like a bearded fireworm to me. They will have a distinctive caruncle (red feathery thing) on their head, which I don’t see in the picture. I agree that I thinks it’s just a large bristleworm.

It's just a huge bristleworm. I got a bunch of them, some stretch out realllly big lol. As long as they aren't fireworms, I just leave them be.

Don't touch it! That's a massive bristleworm, wonder how long it's been in your system! If you want you can put it back, they're helpful detritus-eaters
