I met the man himself tonight and had dinner with him and his wife very nice guy and full of knowledge and his wife is also very knowledgeable..

That's really awesome. It's a shame he no longer participates on this forum due to philosophical differences with the site's owner.

Today was the first time I met him he came over along with his wife to look at a few fish I was having issues with and gave some great advice on how to get things fixed moving forward . He’s so helpful and a great asset to this hobby

Indeed, a shame. I've gotten much help from his past posts, never met him in the flesh though.

That is so nice to hear. I have noted several mentions of him as knowledgeable and one who is good in explaining complex issues.

The aquarium community is much more welcoming than many others on the net.

The thread and petition were easy to find on his website but on that thread I didn't see any specifics. Although to be fair I looked at like the first 2 pages out of the 201 page thread.

Then maybe you don't need to know. Gossip is not helpful and I doubt anyone here wants to revisit the issue.
