Ok at first I thought this was possibly a sweeper coming from a gorgonian,
but then I realized that it is also coming off some rocks & macro algae's as well...
It looks like a very long thin string with additional strings coming off the main string in the shape of a feather.
Its definitely irritating one of my gorgonian's, (its usually very fluffy) but the polyps are barely opening.

Any help in what this is & How to get rid of it is Greatly Appreciated!!!
I hope the videos work... I tried to download them directly but they wouldn't work,
so I did the YouTube thing (that seems like what is suggested in the post).

Looks almost like vermetid worms which they shoot out "spider webs" to collect food.....but that doesn't explain the ones attached directly to the gorgonian......

Benthic ctenophores/benthic comb jellies:
That's a Benthic Ctenophore - a benthic comb jelly. You can see the tentilla (the mini tentacles shooting off the main one) that are a good giveaway; the tentacles will lead back to a little blobbish shaped pressed flat on the surface.

It's generally recommended to get rid of them:
Generally speaking, you'll want to remove benthic ctenophores to be safe (my understanding is that some are harmless pod-eaters, but others can eat small fish).

yea not sure but I don't think its vermetid... this stuff appeared in like a week & the strings (webs) seem to be attaching all over different things Georgian, Macro Algae, even coming off the rock in some places.
