HUNDREDS of small snails

Any idea what these small snails are? There are literally hundreds in my 125.

It looks more shaped like a small astrea snail it is not oblong like a limpets?

astrea, I wonder how you got them, if they bred in-tank or the eggs came on something

I have no idea. I thought they were collonista maybe also. My girlfriend counted 60 just on the glass in about a minute while I was placing some new coral. They're everywhere!

They look like keyhole limpets to me.

Those are trochus snails. They breed in a reef.

I believe the last one is a collonista. Saw a thread somewhere in here and looks exactly the same. Even has a, small green spot in the middle as the other one on the thread.

I was sitting on the couch the other night and literally watched a Mexican turbo snail spew sperm out for a good minute or two.

Trochus babies, my frag system has hundreds of them that range from a couple mm to 10mm or so, from lack of predation as young. Once they size up to an inch or so I move them over or sell them.
