Not sure if this was the right section to post this, but anyway.... I had no idea amphipods did this!?!?!

I was feeding my hermits because my display tank doesn't have any fish. All my fish are in quarantine, and so my little inverts have cleaned the tank and are running out of food.

An amphipod swam out of a rock, grabbed a piece of food, and was dragging it back up the rock. They must have strength of ants bc the food and the pod are the same size!

I have the giant amphipods like that and they are beasts! All they do is eat, fight and make babies. :D

They are very entertaining to watch. That, and my hermits, snails etc...
Hilarious when a crab climbs on a snail and a rodeo commences. ( I always intervene, but still funny)
